Last Friday, Tiny Zen Gardens hosted an enchanting Kids Terrariums Class, where young nature lovers embarked on a fun-filled adventure through our nursery. This hands-on experience allowed children to connect with nature, unleash their creativity, and craft their very own terrarium masterpieces.
Our adventure began with an exciting scavenger hunt through the nursery. The kids enthusiastically searched for cool sticks, shiny stones, and other natural treasures to include in their terrariums. Guided by our friendly instructors, they learned to identify different plant species and discovered the magic of each element in their tiny ecosystems.
Once we had our treasures, it was time to let creativity bloom! Each child received a sparkling glass container and a variety of supplies to design their miniature gardens. From layering soil and adding fuzzy moss to arranging plants and placing their collected treasures, the kids were completely absorbed in the fun. The joy and pride on their faces as they crafted their terrariums were truly heartwarming.
Throughout the class, we highlighted the importance of sustainability and eco-friendly choices. The kids learned how to care for their terrariums using recycled materials and eco-friendly practices, fostering a sense of responsibility towards our planet.
The Kids Terrariums Class was a fantastic success, leaving each child with a unique and beautiful creation to take home.
